Dispute over who pays
An Onchan MHK has called for the restoration of a dilapidated water wheel to begin as soon as possible.
Rob Callister says work must be undertaken to repair the historic wheel in Groudle Glen after complaints from Islanders over it's current state.
There's a difference of opinion between the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture, who are tenants of the land, and its landlord, Onchan Commissioners.
Both claim the other should pay for restoration costs, estimated at £50,000.
Mr Callister, a former commissioner, believes ultimate responsibility for the maintenance of the wheel is in DEFA's hands, but is keen to see both parties reach an agreement:
