Robertshaw praises budget speech but criticises some aspects
Douglas East MHK Chris Robertshaw has praised the speech delivered by Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan, but criticised some of content.
He urged members not to be over-confident as he feels the message is not getting through to the Island's people.
Mr Robertshaw says the budget is only ahead of forecasts due to the good performance of the economy rather than fiscal controls.
And he believes government still needs to be slimmer and more efficient:
