
The time has come for action on erosion in the west of the Island.
That's the call from Michael MHK Alf Cannan who is increasingly concerned about the state of parts of the western coastline.
He says already vulnerable areas have been badly hit by the recent storms, and something needs to be done to prevent it getting much worse.
Mr Cannan accepts there is not the money for expensive solutions, but believes the Island has a duty of care to protect this land.
