MHK brands public sector overpayments "breathtakingly incompetent"

Mr Wannenburgh said the errors were 'at best negligence, at worst a dereliction of duty'

An MHK says almost half a million pounds of overpayments to public sector workers over a two-year period is "breathtakingly incompetent".

Between January 2022 and December last year, just over £470,000 in overpayments were made - the same period saw £1.1m in underpayments.
