Event underway from 8 at the Albert
An educational charity, which supports Manx children, is holding a social fundraising event in the south of the Island tonight (Fri 5).
Mooinjer Veggey has organised a Mhellia, with proceeds going towards the charity's work in supporting Manx Gaelic through nursery provision, and at the Bunscoill Ghaelgagh.
As well as its work at the Manx-speaking primary school in St John's, the organisation also runs nurseries in Braddan and Ballasalla, as well as parents and tots group Possan Cloie.
The traditional autumn Mhellia is being held at the Albert Hotel in Port St Mary, and gets underway at 8 o'clock.
