MGP Qualifiers: Jamie Williams sets fastest lap of the week in Supersport MGP

Jamie Coward tops leader board in Classic TT Formula 1 qualifier

Jamie Williams dominated today's Supersport MGP, setting the fastest lap of the week so far.

He topped the session with a lap time of 119.444mph:

Don Gilbert came in second in a time of 118.972mph, hot on his heels in third was Toby Shan with a lap time of 118.559mph.

In the Classic TT Formula 1, Jamie Coward topped the leader board with a fastest lap time of 126.245mph and he's ready and raring to get out again tomorrow:

Coming in second in the Classic TT Formula 1 was Ian Hutchinson (124.67mph) with Dominic Herbertson not far behind in third. (124.248mph)

Over in the Super Twins, Lewis Arrowsmith lead the way with a lap time of 113.793mph.

Next up was the Historic Senior/Historic Junior/Lightweight Classic.

John McGuinness MBE continued to dominate the Historic Senior amping up his time from last night's qualifying session to a fastest lap of 112.167mph:

In the Historic Junior, Michael Evans continued to impress coming out on top with a time of 104.76mph:

And, with a lap time of 116.491mph, Michael Dunlop came out on top in the Lightweight session.

Roads around the course have now opened.

Tomorrow is the first Race Day of the 2025 Manx Grand Prix.

Roads will close at 9:30am then the action will get underway at 10:15am with the three-lap Supertwin Manx Grand Prix.

Next up is due to be four-lap Supersport MGP at 1pm.

Then there'll be a Classic TT qualifying session to round off the day’s action.

Roads will reopen no later than 9pm.
