Coastal overtopping expected on Island's coastal roads
An amber weather warning will come into force later with coastal overtopping expected.
Ronaldsway Met Office says strong winds will cause rough waves to come over onto exposed coastal roads and promenades.
The warning comes into force at 9.30pm, remaining in place until 2pm tomorrow.
The areas most likely to be affected include Shore Road in Rushen, Gansey, Castletown and Douglas promenade.
Conditions are expected to be worst around high tide, and the Met Office is warning further warnings could be issued later in the week.
