Claims move is part of plan to move stables
A supporter of the horse trams is suspicious of the decision to auction off vintage stock next week.
Douglas Borough Council says the cash made from selling six vintage carriages will go towards supporting the Department of Infrastructure's continued running of the service.
But Julian Nutter from the Manx Electric Railway Society claims it's part of a bigger plan to move the stables - whilst avoiding potential political embarrassment:
