Damage to part of Manx heritage say officers
Police are appealing for information after an electricity box behind the Manx Electric Railway Depot was damaged.
The door of the box, which powers the famous lights for the MER sign, was smashed sometime between Wednesday the 15th and Friday the 17th of June.
Officers say it was pointless vandalism which not only harmed an important part of Manx heritage, but also put those responsible in serious danger of electrocution.
Anyone who may have information on the matter is asked to contact PC Beaumont at police headquarters on 631 212.
