Greener Grass was launched in February after isolation in farming identified as a key concern
A new mental health initiative is aiming to break the silence around emotional wellbeing in Manx farming.
The Manx National Farmers’ Union launched Greener Grass, a support and signposting service designed to help those in the agricultural sector access mental health support more easily.
President Ean Parsons says while this year’s weather has been kinder, many of the challenges farmers face remain hidden - with the industry often marked by long hours, financial strain, and isolation.
He says last year’s poor weather had a serious impact:
Warmer than average May for Island
Increased DfE support 'to tackle rising costs and global pressures'
Police appeal after two motorcycles involved in collision
Childcare Credit payments to increase
