MHK to ask minister about bed spaces
An MHK wants to know if the Island's acute inpatient mental health facility is big enough to meet demand.
Julie Edge has a question about it during Tynwald today.
She will ask the health and social care minister how many patient beds were available at Manannan Court, and what the bed occupation rate was each day in the last twelve months.
The unit was opened in 2017, replacing Grainagh Court.
Earlier this year a whistleblower came forward, saying the facility was at 'breaking point', something the Department of Health and Social Care denied.
