Manannan Court will open next month
A new health facility created to provide inpatient care for those with acute mental health problems is nearing completion.
Built over the last three years, Manannan Court is a specially designed building on the Noble's Hospital estate which can house twenty six patients.
It's replacing the Grianagh Court site, which was considered outdated and falling short of modern standards for mental healthcare.
The new facility is expected to be fully operational from April 4.
Mental health services manager Paul Hurst says all aspects of patients' well-being have been considered in the site's design:
