William Blackburn one of four British people in small aircraft
A memorial for the Manx man who died in a plane crash in Dubai, is being held in Onchan on Wednesday.
The family of William Blackburn are organising the occasion for people to have a chance to say goodbye.
His body has not yet been returned to the Island.
The 26-year-old was one of four people on the small aircraft, that went down on 16 May, three miles away from Dubai International Airport.
William's sister Emma says they "want to celebrate Will's life the best [they] can".
The family have chosen the charity Dot's Dream Foundation in lieu of flowers.
Anyone is welcome to attend the service at St. Peter's Church, at 2.30pm.
There is also a wake at Mint, at King Edward Bay, for anyone who would like to attend.
