Two options on the table
Two options for potentially merging two local authorities in the south of the Island will be discussed tonight, at the first of two public meetings.
The leaders of Arbory and Rushen commissioners say "while such a merger has been inconclusively discussed by both boards on several occasions over the past decade, it is recognised that it would be a significant step for the parishes to take."
Phil Gawne is the clerk of both authorities.
