Public invited to hear plans for future of former government farm
A public meeting will take place in Patrick this evening (Wed 20th) to discuss plans for the future of Knockaloe.
It follows a meeting last September where there was considerable opposition to the idea of Government selling the farm.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture ceased to operate the 337 acres as a farm in 2010 and was given a five year window to review its future.
Captain of the Parish, Pat Costain says she believes the current suggestion to lease out the buildings and land is a good way forward
The public meeting is in Patrick Schoolroom at 7.30pm
