Meet the Consultant season returns
The latest thinking on the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer will be under the spotlight at a public open meeting tonight (7.30pm, 27 March).
The event at Douglas golf club will kick off the 2017 series of 'Meet the Consultant' talks -which give the public a chance to meet senior medial specialists at Noble's hospital.
Guest speakers will be the Island's new consultant breast surgeon Stella Charalampous and consultant radiologist Dr Rebecca Miller.
Dr Miller will talk about state-of-the-art equipment bought for the new breast unit through donations from the Manx public.
She'll also raise concerns about take-up of breast screening:
