Meet the team at Laxey Fire Station

Open day is a chance to get close to fire engines

There's a chance to get up close to fire engines, meet firefighters and find out more about the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service at an open day today.

Laxey Fire Station is hosting an open day between 12pm and 3pm.

The fire service says it's a chance to meet the team, ask questions and find out how crews keep the communities safe.

There'll also be fun activities for children, station tours and refreshments.
