Manx Care partners with Costa ahead of Experience and Involvement Strategy launch

A roadshow giving people the chance to meet and talk with the matrons from Noble's Hospital will get underway on Thursday (12 February).

It's as Manx Care prepares to launch its new Experience and Involvement Strategy 2025–2028, described as 'a three‑year commitment to strengthening how the organisation listens to, learns from, and works alongside patients, carers, families, communities and staff across the Isle of Man'.

The role of matron was only brought back to Noble's last year, and the healthcare body says the strategy builds on the foundations already established through the work of Manx Care Matrons, MCALS, community engagement, and ongoing patient experience initiatives.

Three of the venues for these informal question and answer sessions will be Costa Coffee shops.

Directors of Nursing, Cathie Quine and Emma Cleator as well as Experience and Engagement Lead Karen Maddox, say these meetings will enable a connection with those who rely on Manx Care:

The sessions will be taking place in the following locations:

Costa Coffee, Ramsey - 12 February, 1pm to 3pm

Costa Coffee, Crosby - 19 February, 12pm to 2pm

Noble's Hospital foyer & Thie Bee Cafe - 24 February, 10am to 12pm

Costa Coffee Castletown – 26 February, from 12pm to 2pm
