Manx Care follows MHRA advice
Certain cough and cold medicines have been removed from pharmacy shelves on the Island.
Manx Care says the decision to remove items containing pholcodine has been taken after advice from the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency.
It's due to a small risk of an allergic reaction in some people, if they had general anaesthetic in the last year.
It follows the same move in the UK earlier this week.
