Medical emergency causes Steam Packet delays

Ben-my-Chree schedule disrupted

Manx Radio understands there has been a medical emergency on board the Ben-my-Chree.

It's not yet been confirmed what the nature of the incident is, however, it's caused a two-hour delay to her departure from Heysham.

The boat is now expected to arrive into Douglas at around 7.30pm, with knock-on effects into this evening's schedule.

Passengers booked onto the early evening sailing to Belfast are being advised the Ben-my-Chree will not depart until 8.45pm, with check-in closing at 8pm.
