Industry meeting this evening
An industry meeting on the future of the Island’s meat plant this evening (Tuesday) should reveal more details about how the facility will be operated.
Bemahague School in Douglas is the venue for the gathering at seven o’clock (7pm).
The Isle of Man Meat Company was recently formed and has taken control of the Tromode site from the Fatstock Marketing Association, with support from the government.
Tonight’s meeting will outline the handover, as well a new buying policy, pricing structure and marketing campaign.
