Honour salutes voluntary service devotee
A Manx New Year Honours recipient says she intends to continue her charity work as long as she can help the local community.
Douglas resident Olga Gray has been made an MBE in recognition of more than 50 years voluntary service in the Island.
The same honour went to Southern 100 chairman Phil Taubman for services to motorcycling and the Manx community.
Bill Dale, the founder of Beach Buddies, was awarded the British Empire Medal.
Among local charities supported by Olga Gray, the Manx Blind Welfare Society where she's the voice of weekly recorded news.
She says it's a labour of love.
