There was a sharp rise in inflation last month, according to the latest government figures.
The consumer prices index (CPI) now stands at 3.9% - up from 2.1% in April.
It's now at its highest level since February 2012 with increases across all 12 categories of the basket of goods.
Data from the Cabinet Office shows it's been a bad year if you eat pork - which has risen in price by 17.6% over the last 12 months.
However, it's not been so bad if you eat eggs, which have fallen in price by 4%.
Elsewhere, there was a 0.9% change in the retail prices index in May - up to 8.4%.
