UCM meets with industry to try and address training concerns
Efforts are underway to help address a ‘massive shortage’ of people entering and working in the adult care sector on the Isle of Man.
Employers and managers from the industry have met with the vice principal and head of faculty for wellbeing at University College Isle of Man.
The sector representatives had the opportunity to share their thoughts on the training and skills needed for those wishing to progress in the sector, modes of study and areas for improvement.
