Mask wearing now compulsory in medical settings

Scarves and other face coverings no longer allowed

Mask wearing in most medical settings across the Island is now compulsory.

The department of health and social care says people attending its facilities must wear a fluid resistant, IIR standard, three layered mask.

Until now people had been able to wear a scarf, or other face covering, instead.

Masks will be provided for people who don't have them.
