Last night's Battle of the Pantos was won by Marown. Oh yes it was . . ..
Four AmDram groups - Arbory Players, Port St Mary Cabaret Party, Peel Pantaloons and Marown Youth and Community Players - locked pantomime cow horns to find the fairest group in the land.
But it was Marown's Cinderella who eventually went to the ball and won the coveted old lamp trophy
The Gaiety was packed for the performances and it's now hoped the competition can become an annual event.
