Better marketing will be a key part of the strategy to reverse the fortunes of the Island's meat plant says a civil servant.
The department of Environment Food and Agriculture's food business development manager Andrew Lees has been appointed to the facilities' new management board 'OpCo'.
Along with the new body, DEFA has injected £1 million of it's budget into the site to increase throughput, whilst raising prices inline with UK standards.
