Manxman due to hold press conference today
Mark Cavendish is expected to announce his retirement plans at a press conference later today.
The Manx cyclist, who turned 38 over the weekend, is currently racing in the Giro d'Italia with Astana Qazaqstan.
It's been reported online that he's to announce 2023 will be his last year in the professional peloton.
The Manxman is still expected to race the Tour de France in July, where he'll be aiming to break the all-time record of 34 stage wins that he currently shares with Eddy Merckx.
The press conference is due to take place at lunchtime.
