12 teenagers will participant in the cadet programme next month
There's a shortage of people in the maritime sector on the Isle of Man.
That's according to Captain Lee Clarke, whose also the General Manager of Isle of Man Maritime.
He told Manx Radio like any other sector on the Island, maritime is struggling.
Next month 12 teenagers will take part in the Tall Ship Initiative which is aimed at growing the sector here and encouraging young people to consider a career in sailing.
Captain Clarke says through the initiative they can learn a lot:
