Consultation attracts more than 600 responses

A consultation was held on whether to permanently close the route to motor vehicles in support of government's Active Travel Strategy.
Tim Baker claims it was a worthwhile exercise regardless of the outcome, with the document attracting more than 600 responses.
He hopes a scheme can be found that can deliver 'the benefits without the downsides':
