Comms Commission outlines process
A national television station for the Isle of Man is feasible, but not without significant regulatory hurdles.
That's the message from the Communications Commission, after UK local broadcasting network That's Media expressed interest in launching a new Manx digital channel in the new year.
The regulator says any licence to broadcast would have to be subject to OFCOM approval, and follow a compulsory tender process by the Manx government.
