Manxman trips cancelled following adverse weather forecasts

Manxman sailings to Heysham and back, tonight and in the early hours of tomorrow morning, have been cancelled due to adverse weather forecasts.

Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain and localised flooding, with winds expected to reach strong to gale force overnight.

Additionally, a further yellow warning for coastal overtopping is anticipated to be in place from 10.40am tomorrow, affecting Peel's promenade and Fenella Beach.

Tomorrow's Steam Packet trips remain susceptible to disruption (9 April), with a final decision to be made before 7 am tomorrow.
