Propellor shafts have arrived back from Denmark
Manxman will re-enter dry dock today as work to return the Steam Packet's flagship to service continues.
The vessel has been undergoing repairs in Merseyside since July, when damage to propulsion shafts, liners and bearings was found during a period of scheduled maintenance.
The Steam Packet Company has confirmed the vessel's propeller shafts have arrived at the Birkenhead shipyard from Denmark following repairs.
As Manxman is currently without her propellor shafts, she'll be moved with the assistance of three tugs.
The operator is aiming to have Manxman back in service from the end of November.
The Steam Packet estimates the repairs will cost in the region of £5million.
