Yellow warning issued with gusts up to 80mph expected in exposed areas
This afternoon’s sailings of the Manxman and Manannan have been cancelled as poor weather conditions take hold across the Isle of Man.
A yellow weather warning is due to come into force from 5pm, with forecasters warning of strengthening winds as the day progresses.
According to Ronaldsway Met Office, conditions will remain cloudy with patchy rain throughout the day, becoming heavier at times.
Gusts of between 60 and 70 miles per hour are expected widely, with a small risk of 70 to 80 miles per hour in more exposed locations.
Storm Dave is expected to bring gale-force winds across the Island.
Passengers are being advised to contact the Steam Packet Company's reservations team to amend their booking, or modify their booking online.
