City seen as welcoming and safe
A Manxman living in Thailand says he’s shocked by yesterday’s bomb attack, which happened just round the corner from his former home.
Until a few months ago, Neal Clague was living in Bangkok where a shrine was targeted in a deadly pipe bomb attack yesterday.
He says both the country and the city are friendly, welcoming and safe and he’s been hit hard by the scenes of devastation in the media.
