A first for the next generation of poets
A Manx Youth Bard is being launched on the Island, following the success of the Manx Bard.
The cultural initiative supported by the Isle of Man Arts Council, was the brainchild of Bridget Carter.
The opportunity for youngsters from year six to the age of 17, officially begins on 23 March.
Mrs Carter says it poses lots of similarities with its older counterpart.
