Isla Gale speaks to Manx Radio about challenging misconceptions in a 'male-dominated' sector
A twenty-year-old Manx woman from Sulby says she wants to inspire young people and women to take up careers in the fishing industry.
Isla Gale has been praised by Isle of Man Maritime after achieving her Certificate of Competency as Deck Officer Class 2.
She's believed to be the first woman ever to pass that qualification.
