Mann Link Travel warns most travel insurance policies won't cover 'acts of war'
A Manx travel agent has issued advice for anyone due to travel to or through the Middle East from the Isle of Man.
Limited flights from Dubai have now restarted after a number of countries in the region were targeted by Iran since Saturday.
It's thought at least 300,000 British citizens are in those countries.
Chairman of Mann Link Travel, Brian Kelly, warns it's likely your travel insurance won't cover the current issues:
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Alfred Cannan says government's focus is on ensuring impacted Manx residents have access to 'clear, reliable, and up to date advice, which is issued by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office'.
Mr Cannan has confirmed that if the UK government arranges assisted travel back to the UK, British nationals who are usually resident here, as well as holders of Isle of Man passports, will be included in those arrangements.
