12.5% cost hike in response to global inflationary pressures, MT says
Prices for several Manx Telecom services are going up by 12.5% from today.
The increases are applying to copper broadband, fixed line services and legacy mobile tariffs that are no longer available for new supply.
Fibre broadband, inclusive calls periods and mobile charges for new supply will not be affected.
A 10% uplift in costs is being brought in in response to the Island's inflation rate, with an additional 2.5% increase to offset upcoming electricity price rises on the Isle of Man.
In a previous statement, the telecoms provider says the overall rise in costs is needed because of the ongoing mounting global and national inflationary cost pressures.
Further details about the tariffs and services affected by the price changes is available HERE.
