This year's Manx Telecom Parish Walk has been officially launched.
Well over 900 people have already signed up for the 2015 event which takes place on Saturday 20 June.
Details of an exciting new social media initiative for competitors were unveiled at today's launch event (5 March).
Webmaster for the Parish Walk site since 2001 Murray Lambden says last year 12,000 photos from around the course were uploaded via Manx Telecom.
This year, full size images will be posted on the network ten times faster than in 2014, thanks to the new 4G network.
People can print off pictures, with proceeds from sales going to charity.
The closing date for entries to take part in the 85 mile event is 10 May.
