The event concludes today, after three days of intense competition
A team from the Island are pitching their sheep shearing and wool handling skills against the best at the World Golden Shears Sheep Shearing Championships in New Zealand.
The event, dubbed the Olympics of sheep shearing, concludes today, after three days of intense competition.
Team member Phillip Christian has competed before in New Zealand - back in 2004.
Before he headed down under Phillip told Manx Radio's Farming Correspondent, Simon Clarke it was an eye-opener back then:
Carers: 'They are often the quiet heroes of our Island'
Hooper: 'Time to bite the bullet and build new hospital'
'No final decisions' made yet about relocating dementia patients says Manx Care
'We want to provide a facility for almost anybody'
