Unions balloting members on potential strike action
A union leader believes the way teachers pay awards are calculated on the Isle of Man needs to change.
Manx salaries for teaching staff are determined by the UK Secretary of State for Education.
Three unions are sending ballot papers to members today over their ongoing pay dispute with the Department of Education, Sport and Culture, which could lead to a teachers' strike.
