
A set of stamps issued by the Island’s Post Office to commemorate the London Olympics has been buried in a time capsule in London.
The seven stamps were chosen by the artist that created them, Sir Paul Smith, to be buried underneath the foundations of the planned Design Museum on Kensington High Street which is due to open in 2015.
Jasper Conran, the museum's founder, asked artists and designers to suggest objects that could be included in the time capsule.
The capsule, which included the stamps, was buried yesterday during a ground breaking ceremony.
