IOM: 33 per cent stressed UK: 54 per cent
New research has revealed that small business owners in the Isle of Man are more relaxed about completing tax returns than their UK counterparts.
Thirty-three per cent of Manx companies claim managing finances is the most stressful part of running their business, compared to fifty-four per cent in Britain.
Other figures; and twenty-two per cent of Island businesses find completing tax returns a major worry, compared to twenty-five per cent in Britain.
Oliver Shaw, CEO of Kashflow, an online accounting business, explained to Manx Radio why small companies here may fret less over completing their tax forms:
