Manx skydivers raise £2000 for 'A Little Piece of Hope'

Skydive in memory of two baby girls

Ten volunteers have been fundraising for a local charity by jumping 15,000 feet out of a plane.

Taking place at Black Knights Parachute Centre in Lancashire, the skydivers raised £2000 for 'A Little Piece of Hope'.  

Set up in 2011 by Helen and Phil Warmsley after the loss of their little girl, the charity provides financial support to bereaved parents and to children with mental and physical disabilities.

Speaking about setting up the organisation, Helen says, 'the impact on your wellbeing after losing a child is unimaginable and having to consider financial implications on top of that is almost too much to bear, so we founded 'A Little Piece of Hope' to take a tiny piece of that strain away.'

The recent skydive was in memory of two baby girls who were stillborn, Esmee-Sue, the daughter of Robbie and Sara Quayle, and Hope-Samantha, daughter of Helen and Phil Warmsley.
