Lecture on 'Australian celebrity' Rayner Hoff
An art historian and writer is on the Island to give a lecture on who she believes is a 'forgotten' Manx sculptor.
Deborah Beck of the National Art School in Sydney has spent the last 4 years researching the life and work of the Braddan-born Rayner Hoff:
Following the Great War, Hoff was responsible for the preeminent tribute to fallen servicemen at the ANZAC memorial in Sydney's Hyde Park.
Doors open at half past 6 this evening. (19 Sept)
You can go to the Manx National Heritage website to book a place.
