Manx motorcycle racer Paul Cassidy says he's 'OK' but 'sore' following a crash at the North West 200 in Northern Ireland.
The Castletown man collided with another rider leading into a turn, causing him to hit the safety barrier and tumble through the air at a height of around 25 ft.
It happened during a qualifying session yesterday (Thursday, 9 May).
Sharing a video of the incident on social media, alongside images of the crumpled car he landed on, Paul has thanked the medical staff and marshals who assisted.
Commenters have wished him well, describing the incident as 'horrifying', 'unbelievable', and Paul as a 'lucky, lucky man'.
The Manxman is due to race again at the Isle of Man TT in a few weeks' time.
