Manx presence at International Culture Summit

Education and the arts represented

The Isle of Man is taking part in an international summit on creativity this week - in the midst of the world's biggest arts festival.

Education minister Tim Crookall, his chief executive Professor Ronald Barr and Arts Development Manager Emma Callin set off on Thursday for the gathering at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh, which is taking place on Friday

They'll join delegates from around the world exploring the economic value of creative industries - and their potential to enhance community life.

The Manx delegation will attend a hectic programme of discussions, seminars and presentations over the next two days.

Ms Callin says creativity and enterprise now go hand-in-hand:
