Political Correspondent gives his take on day one of Government Conference
The annual Isle of Man Government Conference got underway at the Comis Hotel yesterday (17 September).
The key announcement of the day came from Chief Minister Alfred Cannan in his opening remarks.
He pledged that the Manx Government will aim to save at least £10 million in next year's budget.
Manx Radio's Political Correspondent Phil Gawne says that's a promise that doesn't go far enough.
