Dedicated lounge opens at John Lennon Airport
A designated quiet room for patients returning to the Island from UK hospital appointments has enjoyed its official opening.
The space at Liverpool John Lennon Airport has been on the cards since March, following lobbying by the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group.
It will be available to all patient transfer service users bound for Ronaldsway.
Located next to the Airport's Prayer Room facility, it provides comfortable furniture and a calming environment close to departure gates.
A similar facility at Ronaldsway Airport is due to open in the coming weeks.
